The “Restart” project has been launched in a pilot mode in the Bukhar Zhyrau and Osakarov districts of the Karaganda region. Its goal is to provide assistance to people with loan debts.
The “Restart” project provides financial literacy classes for people with loans, helps them find permanent jobs and obtain individual and favorable terms for repaying loans from banks.
Borrowers with debts of 90 days or more can participate in this program. The amount of the debt does not matter. However, if a person has several debts from different banks and microfinance organizations, then he is not allowed to participate.
The employment and social programs departments conclude individual contracts with participants, which will list all the steps necessary to get out of a difficult financial situation.
First of all, you need to take a financial literacy course. It is conducted under the “Debt-Free Society” project of the Amanat party. You can do it both online and offline.
Then, if necessary, the debtor is helped to find a job. To this end, several successful social programs will be launched in the region. These include social workplaces, youth internships, the "Generation Contract", "Silver Youth" and "Golden Youth" projects, grants for public works and the implementation of business ideas.
The final stage of the "Restart" project is obtaining individual terms for loan repayment from a bank or microfinance organization. Participants who have completed the training and found a job will be assisted by specialists from the employment and social programs departments.
To become a participant in the "Restart" project, you need to contact the akimat of the rural district or the employment and social programs departments.
