A working group meeting to discuss sectoral qualification framework and professional standards held

On February 18-19 of this year, a meeting of the working group of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic of "Storage and Transportation of Oil and Gas" is being held at KazTransOil JSC.
The meeting of the working group was attended by representatives of the National Body for Professional Qualifications of the "Center for the Development of Labor Resources" JSC of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the "Kazenergy" Association, "KazTransOil" JSC, "QazaqGaz" NC JSC, "Intergas Central Asia" JSC and their subsidiaries.
The meeting of the working group was opened by the Chairman of the Industry Council Lyazzat Akhmurzina and representatives of the Departments of the Gas Industry and Oil Transportation and Processing of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main purpose of the meeting is to implement the 2025 plan for the development and updating of professional standards (KS) and industry qualification frameworks in the oil and gas and oil and gas transportation industries. Daulet Arykbayev, Director of the Oil Transportation and Processing Department of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, noted the importance of professional standards for the development of human resources.
The Chairperson of the Industry Council L. Akhmurzina reviewed the industry's professional qualification map. She also noted the importance of defining the boundaries of the industry before conducting an industry analysis.
The Deputy Director of the Gas Industry Department Yerzhan Koshkarov spoke about the development of worker specialties and their role in improving the skills of specialists. Also, experts from the National Body for Professional Qualifications presented new changes in the rules for developing industry qualification frameworks and KS, and the national classifier of classes.
Work in this direction will continue.
