The XIV Winter Spartakiad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan is being held in Karaganda. As part of the competition, teams from structural divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will compete for the championship in such sports as volleyball and tug-of-war.
25 volleyball teams and 21 tug-of-war teams will participate in the Spartakiad.
Today, the grand opening of the competition took place at the "Zhastar" sports complex. The opening ceremony was attended by Ramil Kamalov, Chairman of the Fire Service Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Akylbek Akhmetzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Civil Defense and Military Units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Adilet Kairbayev, Executive Director of the "Vatyr Team" sports club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Serik Sapiyev, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Karaganda region, and invited guests.
The sports competition is expected to be bright and competitive, demonstrating the strength, endurance, and team spirit of the participants.
