The task of developing Taldykorgan as a safe, comfortable, and green city in the coming years has been set. To implement it, specific plans for 2025-2026 have been developed, and the city budget has been increased by 33 percent. This was stated during an interview with journalists by the regional akim Beibut Isabayev, the press service of the Zhetysu region akim reports.
In his speech, the head of the region focused on the priority areas of development of the regional center. At the same time, ensuring the safety of city residents is at the forefront. For this purpose, it is planned to install 585 video cameras to monitor public order and 136 "Sergek" cameras to ensure road safety. It is planned to launch a situational center that will be able to monitor the life of the city around the clock in the "Smart City" format. In addition, street lighting will also be taken up. Today, only 420 of the 640 streets in the city, that is, 65 percent, have lighting. In this regard, 3.5 billion tenge is allocated from the local budget for street lighting this year. Thanks to this, streets will be illuminated in a number of summer cottages and in the "Khutor", "Shygys" and other districts.
At the same time, attention will be paid to making the city comfortable to live in. That is, the population must be provided with housing, heat, electricity, water, and gas. For example, last year, 1,283 families were provided with housing in Taldykorgan, and this year it is planned that the number of people who will acquire housing will reach about 1,500.
The beauty of the city is directly related to landscaping. Therefore, the construction of workout areas in the courtyards, renovation of the roofs and facades of multi-storey buildings, and restoration of ditches and channels will continue. Last year, repairs were carried out on the roofs of 28 multi-storey buildings. The facades of 10 multi-storey buildings were made. This year, the roofs of 30 multi-storey buildings and the facades of 32 houses will be repaired.
- The "Ulan" microdistrict in the city has not been repaired for more than thirty years. We discussed the issue of improving the area for a long time, conducted an examination, and made a decision. Through this, experience was formed. Now we are working comprehensively. Last year, we first repaired 5 courtyards of 25 apartment buildings, and this year we will finish the remaining courtyards. We will also repair the roofs of multi-storey buildings in the "Ulan" microdistrict that require repair. Then we will move on to the "Zhetysu" and "Zhuldyz" microdistricts, where we will carry out landscaping work in a comprehensive manner. That is, we will first cover the neglected peripheral areas of the city, - said B. Isabayev.
As for landscaping, last year about 10 thousand trees were planted in Taldykorgan, and this year more than 12 thousand seedlings are planned to be planted. There are plans to build a new park with an area of ​​​​1.2 hectares in the "Kulager" microdistrict of the city. And a new square will appear in the "Birlik" microdistrict. In addition, the system of watering trees and lawns has been regulated. To date, about 10 kilometers of the drainage system have been repaired, and this work will continue this year. In addition, current repairs will be carried out in the Central and "Zhastar" parks.
