        Since November 3, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been testing the updated “Goods Declaration” module of the ASTANA-1 information system (IS “Keden”).
        Testing is being conducted in both online and offline formats. It is related to changes in the structure and format of the declaration, as well as the introduction of new automation tools.
        What has already been done from November 3 to 11:
      • training and testing of more than 300 customs representatives has been conducted;
      • 224 goods declarations have been registered in the system;
      • Users sent 35 suggestions and comments, which the KGD is already reviewing.
       What has changed in the system:
      • The exchange of requests and responses between customs and the declarant has been automated.
      • Functions have been added for adjusting declarations, calculating penalties and security.
      • Notifications and inspection reports are now issued.
      • New options are available for complex procedures, such as temporary importation, processing, and working with free customs zones and warehouses.
      What has become more convenient for users:
     • Registration now takes only a few minutes; simply visit the website and get started.
     • Built-in checks help avoid mistakes when filling out declarations.
     • You can upload whole groups of goods, which speeds up the process.
      The State Revenue Committee invites participants in foreign economic activity and customs representatives to continue testing the system and share their feedback on the test portal https://test-keden.kgd.gov.kz.
