A round table on the topic "Babadan kalgan mura" was held at the Mukhamedzhan Tynyshbayuly Museum of History and Local Lore in Zhetisu region, dedicated to the ceremony of presenting the sword of Bakai batyr to the museum by his descendants. Bakai batyr fought in the 18th century in the war against the Dzungars as a centurion in the detachment of Raimbek batyr. During the event, the descendant of the batyr, Karlygash Manatovna, transferred the valuable relic to the museum funds for permanent storage.

Representatives of the intelligentsia, historians, local historians, cultural workers and the media took part in the event.
