REPRESENTATIVE OF "QYZYLORDA OBLYSY KÁSIPODAQTAR ORTALYĞY" TERRITORIAL TRADE UNION OF KYZYLORDA REGION SIGNED A MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF HUMAN RIGHTS PROTECTION
15.04.2025 18:43:57 77Representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kyzylorda region Berikbol Baihojayev held a meeting with Maksut Nalibayev, the chairman of the Kyzylorda region trade union center association, and the chairmen of trade union organizations in the region. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of protection of citizens' rights and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The document is aimed at strengthening the interaction between the Representative Institute and regional Trade Union organizations. Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed to work together in several important directions: creating joint working groups for the protection of the rights of workers guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, monitoring the implementation of modern labor safety tools, making recommendations, conducting studies on various issues, ensuring that employers maintain the right of employers to create safe and healthy working conditions that prevent occupational injuries and occupational diseases, organizing receptions of citizens, rapid information exchange on complaints, round tables and educational events on human rights.
Maksut Nalibayev emphasized the importance of joint work in effectively solving problems that violate the rights of citizens.
Also, the parties discussed the need to increase the legal literacy of the population and hold legal education events. The ombudsman stated that one of the main tasks of his office is to pay special attention to educational work among the population.
Signing the memorandum was an important step towards strengthening human rights protection mechanisms in the region and forming channels of effective interaction between citizens, government agencies and trade union organizations.
