A solemn ceremony was held in Astana to unveil the patriotic mural "Ұлттық ұлан – ел айбыны" ("National Guard – Pride of the Nation"), dedicated to the service and combat duties of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The honor of unveiling the mural was given to conscript servicemen Daniyal Sarsengaliyev and Nurzhan Zhumabekuly, who demonstrated vigilance and selflessness during their duties.

  • Daniyal Sarsengaliyev promptly administered first aid to a young woman showing signs of an epileptic seizure.

  • Nurzhan Zhumabekuly was the first to detect a fire at the "Sharyn" market, immediately reported the incident, called for reinforcements, and organized a perimeter with fellow guardsmen.

The mural now adorns the facade of a building located in the square at the intersection of 9/1 Seyfullin Street and 22/1 Kubrin Street, becoming a symbol of appreciation for the role of the National Guard in maintaining public safety and fostering patriotism in the younger generation.

The initiative to create the mural was launched jointly by the National Guard and the Akimat of the Saryarka district.

— This mural is an expression of deep gratitude to our servicemen. Through art, we highlight those who guard law and order day and night with honor. I believe this mural will serve as an important element in patriotic education and a reminder of one’s duty to the Motherland, — stated Kairat Umbetov, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard for Educational and Legal-Social Work.

Deputy Akim of Saryarka District, Dinmukhamed Kuldashov, emphasized the project's cultural and educational value:

“We aim not only to improve the city's appearance but also to enrich it with meaning. This mural is a key step in fostering respect for military service and those who perform it. Without a doubt, it will become part of the city's identity and a source of pride for residents.”

The mural has seamlessly blended into the local architecture and has become a vibrant feature of the capital’s urban landscape.
It has already attracted the attention of many locals and visitors, serving as a proud tribute to those who ensure the nation’s safety every day.
