On March 14, the first day of the ten-day Nauryznama celebration, a special holiday called Körisu Kuni is observed — a day of warm meetings, sincere greetings, and kind wishes.
On this day, the District House of Culture warmly opened its doors to guests. In the cozy foyer, colleagues from the central library, local history museum, Language Development Center, and cultural department gathered to congratulate each other, exchange firm handshakes, hugs, and warm words.
Körisu Kuni is one of the ancient Kazakh traditions, symbolizing respect for elders, unity, and the cohesion of the people. On this day, it is customary to visit relatives and friends, wishing each other health, prosperity, and well-being. Such traditions are passed down from generation to generation and serve as a reminder of the value of friendship, respect, and good neighborliness.
The festive gathering was held in a friendly and heartfelt atmosphere. Guests eagerly took part in games and quizzes, songs were performed, and sincere wishes for peace, prosperity, and goodness filled the day with special warmth.
