In honor of Victory Day, a large-scale book exhibition titled "Tribute to the Great Victory"! Was organized at the Central Library named after S. Seifullin. The main purpose of the exhibition is to honor the courage and heroism of our people during the Great Patriotic War, to preserve and renew historical memory, and to foster patriotism and love for the Motherland among the younger generation. The exhibition featured a wide range of literature, including fiction, documentary works, memoirs, and historical publications dedicated to the war. The event was attended by employees of the Specialized Security Service Department of the Almaty Region and Zhetysu Region Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, students from School No. 4 in Taldykorgan, as well as School No. 10 and No. 125 high school, visited the exhibition. Library staff provided an overview of the displayed materials, explaining the content and historical significance of each book. The participants showed particular interest in materials describing the life stories of war veterans, their bravery, and heroic deeds during the war years. During the exhibition, visitors gained insight into lesser-known historical facts about the hardships of the nation and developed a deeper appreciation of the value of peace. They also paid tribute to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for their homeland. Such meaningful events play an important role in shaping historical awareness among young people, increasing interest in national history, and fostering patriotic education.
