The purpose of this event is to encourage the population to fulfill their tax obligations and prevent the growth of arrears. In case of non-payment of Land, Transport and property (House) taxes within the established time limits, in accordance with the tax code of the Republic of Kazakhstan: for each month of delay, a penalty of 0.1% is charged; if the arrears are not paid, they can be sent to the judicial authorities; bank accounts are likely to be blocked and the property knotted.
