Legendary opera singer, actress, and teacher Bibigul Tulegenova celebrates her birthday on December 16. This year, People's Artist of the USSR, recipient of the Order of Otan, honorary citizen of Almaty and academician turns 95 years old.
Mayor of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev came to congratulate Bibigul Akhmetovna on such a significant date. He read out a congratulatory address on behalf of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. It recognizes the merits of an outstanding artist who has made a huge contribution to the development of national culture.
"A long and fruitful creative path has elevated you to the heights of recognition. You have left a rich legacy in the golden fund of our country and educated talented, worthy students. Your great work has been marked by high state awards, honorary titles and special distinctions, which is recognition of your achievements," the congratulatory message from the Head of State reads.
In turn, Bibigul Akhmetovna expressed gratitude for the warm wishes and congratulated all Kazakhstanis on Independence Day.
On December 21, at 3 p.m., the Palace of the Republic will host a gala concert in honor of Bibigul Tulegenova's 95th birthday. The program will feature the greatest works of classical and Kazakh music performed by outstanding artists, for whom Bibigul Akhmetovna's work has become an inspiration and a guiding light.
