The Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Absolutely real combat, a new discipline, which is an analogue of army hand–to-hand combat, was held in Astana these days. From December 13 to December 15, the best teams in this type of martial arts gathered in Astana. This tournament was held in the "ARB without kimono" section. Dias Nurtaev, a rescuer of the Akmola region, competing in the weight category up to 67 kg, passed all stages of the Cup and rightfully won first place.
Also, the strongest athletes from all over the country gathered at the Kazakhstan Adult Kettlebell Lifting Championship, held in Astana from December 12 to 17, 2024. Representatives of emergency situations of Almaty and Karaganda regions performed well among the participants. In the 73 kg weight category, Dauren Kadyr, senior engineer of the Emergency Department of the Kegeni district of the Emergency Department of the Almaty region, took first place. In the 95 and 85 kg weight categories, Alexander Komarov, the head of the guard at the fire station No. 22 of the Emergency Department of the Karaganda region, and Roman Gerasimenko, the driver of the fire truck at the fire station No. 28, became the silver medalists of the tournament.
In a difficult and intense struggle, they showed a high level of preparation and perseverance. This success is not only a personal achievement of the athletes, but also the pride of the entire civil protection service.
Such tournaments are critically important for rescuers, as they develop the physical endurance, reaction time, and skills necessary to work effectively in extreme conditions.
