Students of the 5th grade of Lyceum school No. 8 in Astana, as part of the Green Club project, have borne fruit on a lemon tree that they have been growing for two years in the Green School greenhouse, the official website of the capital's administration reports.
In addition to the lemon tree, cucumbers, tomatoes, dill, strawberries, berries and mint are also grown in the greenhouse. The project managers take care of the plants, using their free time together with the students.
In total, there are 19 schools and 1 college in Astana, in particular B №8, 20, 37, 42, 43, 49. , 58, 61, 67, 68, 69 , 80, 83, 88, 78, 90, 87, 82, 79 both Service and tourism in college. A greenhouse was opened at the expense of the B. Utemuratov Foundation.

Twenty schools in the city have installed new trash cans to protect the environment and maintain cleanliness. They are located on each floor of the school and in different locations. The containers are designed for separate collection of organic and recyclables. All students and staff should take this new system seriously and properly dispose of garbage.
The main purpose of these works is to educate the younger generation about responsibility for environmental issues, to instill a sense of love and care for nature. Through environmental projects and activities in schools, students foster respect for nature and learn the principles of the green economy and sustainable development.
