Kanat Sharlapayev met with ADB representatives

Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kanat Sharlapayev held a meeting with Vice President of the Asian Development Bank Yingmin Yang.
During the meeting, issues of implementing projects to modernize sewage treatment plant systems in the republic were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Zhunisbekov, Evgeny Zhukov - ADB Director General for Central and West Asia and Utsav Kumar - Director of the ADB Representative Office in Kazakhstan, Nurlan Soltambekov - Chairman of the Board of Kazcenter Housing and Communal Services JSC.
For reference: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is a multilateral financial institution for development. Of the 68 member States of the organization, 49 are located in the Asia-Pacific region and 19 outside it. ADB's global goal is to reduce poverty. In this regard, ADB assists developing member countries in achieving sustainable pro-poor economic growth, comprehensive social development and effective governance. Kazakhstan became a member of the ADB in 1994.
Following the meeting, ADB representatives informed the development of projects planned for implementation. Preliminary information was also exchanged regarding the structure of the project, sources of return on investment and operating costs.
