The Command Center of the Kyrgyz Republic's Defense Forces is the main structural unit responsible for the operational management of civil defense forces and facilities, as well as for collecting and processing information about natural and man-made emergencies. As part of the renovation of the center's infrastructure, work was carried out this year to repair the network and update the information and technical base. At the end of the meeting, the Talsim and Talsim flood forecasting systems were introduced. Delft-FEWS was introduced, and then an important update in the emergency notification system was shown.
At the end of the meeting, the participants learned how to coordinate information systems and civil processes. They discussed further steps to create a single climate center providing logistical support in the field of environmental protection. In addition, it was proposed to develop an interdepartmental terms of reference for the implementation of this project.
