In order to increase the transparency and efficiency of financing preschool education, a voucher financing project is being implemented in Astana, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
First of all, the system provides for transparency of the entire financing process, where the principle "money goes to the child, not to the institution" is implemented. Funds are credited and transferred only after the parents confirm the information in the child's report card.
Since December 17, 2024, explanatory meetings have been held with the heads of preschool organizations in the city on the topic "Transition to a voucher financing system for preschool organizations in Astana."
According to the established schedule, the first heads of private and public kindergartens in five districts of the city are currently trained. The total number of participants is 600 people. The meetings were attended by representatives of JSC Financial Center and the Indigo information system.
After the training of the first managers and staff of preschool organizations, this system will also be explained to parents.
