The reconstruction made it possible to create comfortable conditions for six teams serving up to 30 thousand calls per year.
In addition, 25 young specialists, including anesthesiologists, traumatologists and general practitioners, have been involved in the interdistrict hospital to provide local residents with access to medical services. This year, 130 apartments were provided to families of medical workers, and the amount of lifting payments was increased from 1.5 million to 8 million tenge.
Also, the first Best Practices Center equipped with modern diagnostic equipment has been opened on the basis of the polyclinic of the multidisciplinary hospital of Balkhash. It offers comprehensive medical, social and psychological assistance, as well as a public reception "Halyk Kenesa".
"The Center provides a symbiosis of medical, social and psychological services — this is the principle of family medicine. A multidisciplinary team deals with each family, identifying the causes of diseases," said Serikbol Tusupbekov, director of the Balkhash Multidisciplinary Hospital.
