This year, 28 young specialists have joined the medical staff of remote areas of the East Kazakhstan region, 15 of them for acute shortage specialties. The arrival of qualified specialists, including psychiatrists, radiologists, neonatologists, pediatricians, traumatologists, oncologists, dentists, cardiologists, surgeons and anesthesiologists, resuscitators, significantly strengthens the potential of rural healthcare.
"With the arrival of young specialists, our hospital not only improves the quality of medical services, but also introduces innovations in diagnosis and treatment, in terms of service. Young people who have chosen the path of service to their fellow countrymen are the foundation of our medical future," said Yelzhan Manarbekov, Chief physician of Tarbagatai Hospital.
Among the new employees is anesthesiologist-resuscitator Kanat Akylbekov, a graduate of Semey Medical University and the National Academy of Medical Sciences. After returning to his homeland, Kanat continued the family tradition of serving medicine, started by his grandfather, the former head of the Akzhar Hospital. The team was also joined by dentist Moldir Rymkhanova and general practitioner Seitkazy Asylzat, natives of the region who have accumulated the necessary experience and returned to provide assistance to residents of their native villages.
State social support is provided to young doctors working in remote areas.
