The new center will serve 50,000 young residents of Sortie and Maikuduk.
– We are directly involved in the examination of special children and send them to either a correction room, or to a kindergarten or school – to an inclusive classroom or special boarding schools. At the same time, we advise parents, and upon completion of work with the child, we issue a conclusion," explains Araila Beissenbayeva, head of the MPPC No. 3. – The opening of the center in the Alikhan Bokeikhan area will make life much easier for parents. There are many children with special educational needs here. There are also children with behavioral disorders. It is very difficult for them to go to the city or to the Southeast. Children get very tired, so the examinations are not always effective and efficient.
A barrier-free environment has been created in the new PMPC: there are no thresholds, there is a ramp, tactile paths, handrails. The staff of specialists includes a psychologist, a speech pathologist, a speech therapist, a speech therapist, a sign language teacher, and a social educator. They are attended by neurologists and psychiatrists. Specialized rooms and equipment for a full-fledged examination are provided for children of different ages.
