As of today, medical workers have given patients free medicines based on 470 thousand prescriptions by means of a QR code in the "Social Wallet" section of the eGov Mobile application. More than 700 medical organizations are participating in the pilot project for the electronic issuance of drugs through this service.
The use of the "Social Wallet" creates conditions for accessibility and full transparency in the provision of medicines to citizens, excluding illegal trafficking, falsification and other violations.
By the end of the year, this project will be scaled up throughout the republic, covering 1.7 million people receiving drugs as part of free outpatient drug provision.
To use the services of the "Social Wallet", you need to download the eGov Mobile application, which is available in the App Store and Play Market.
Then, in order to receive medicines, a citizen must register in the eGov Mobile application or identify if registration was made earlier. Next, on the main page, go to the "Social wallet" section, select the line "Drug provision" there.
