She and her colleagues help children with special needs. This year, the entrepreneur received a grant from the state to expand her social business.
– My center has been operating for two and a half years. We have ABA therapists, educators, tutors, speech pathologists. We work with children with different diagnoses, mainly autism spectrum disorders, delays in psychological and speech development. We have 20 children studying now – we can't take any more on safety grounds. The received grant will allow us to expand. We plan to purchase new equipment and open a Montessori therapy room for children under one year old," said the entrepreneur.
Daria Zaitseva is currently undergoing a refresher course that will allow her to identify and correct the first signs of developmental delays in children in their first year of life. According to the businesswoman, such an early diagnosis avoids complications in the future and significantly increases the effectiveness of psychocorrection.
This year in Kazakhstan, a new format of business support is grants for the development of social entrepreneurship. They finance startups that help solve social problems or meet high public demand. A special register of social entrepreneurs has been created in the Karaganda region.
It includes business projects in the fields of education and medicine, psychological and pedagogical services and projects involving the employment of representatives of socially vulnerable segments of the population.
There are 13 social entrepreneurs in the region's registry.
Of these, 11 are located in Karaganda, one each in Balkhash and Bukhar-Zhyrau district.
The state allocates grants of up to five million tenge for the development of socially significant projects. In 2024, 13 social entrepreneurs of the region received state grants. A total of 60 million tenge has been allocated for the development of their projects.
