The Kazakh National Musical and Drama Theater named after Kalibek Kuanyshbayev hosted an award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the republican contest "DALA DAUYSY".
The competition is held to support the authors of new works aimed at preserving and developing national culture, strengthening spiritual values in society, as well as moral and patriotic education of the younger generation.
The competition includes 15 prizes in 5 nominations: "Best Folklore Music", "Best Classical Music", "Best Dramatic Work", "Best Musical and Theatrical Work", "Republic of Ani" in the variety genre and two special prizes of the Ministry of Culture and Information.
From April 1 to November 1, 2024, there are 154 applications from Kazakhstani composers and writers for the competition. The works that participated in the competition were created over the past two years and had not previously been performed publicly.
Winners and laureates of the contest:
In the nomination "The best folk music" the awards were given: Kalikbergen Abilzhanov for the vocal and vocal-instrumental composition "Bebeu dunie". Adilbek Tashimov for the instrumental author's work "Akkorkem". Elmira Zhanabergen for an instrumental piece for the Sagynysh ensemble. Aitkali Zhaiymov for the piece "Babalar tolgauy" for the orchestra of folk instruments.
In the nomination "Best Classical Music" were awarded to: Kuat Shildebaev for a piece for the ensemble "Isekti Quartet". Adilzhan Tolukpayev for the piece "Shabyt" for flute and symphony orchestra.
In the nomination "The best work of the musical and theatrical genre": Composer Arman Zhaiym for the opera "Akbobek" and author of the libretto Aitkali Zhaiymov. Composer Beibit Daldenby for the ballet "Er Tastik" and author of the libretto Duisenbek Nakipov. Composer Alibi Abdinurov for the musical "Mukali" and author of the libretto Seifolla Ospanov.
In the nomination "Republic of ani" (pop genre): Composer Isa Augantai for the song "El umiti", lyricist Sayat Rakhimzhan.
In the nomination "Best dramatic work": Nartai Saudanbekuly for the historical play for drama theaters "Shemen". Azamat Abilkair for the play "Kondyger" for children and teenagers.
Azamat Bakiya for the kui "Rukhty el", Anargul Nauryzkhan for the patriotic song "Otan ana" were awarded a special prize by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
