Folk dances and songs, sounds of dombra and kobyz –
The regional festival "Onerimiz Sagan, Kazakhstan!" was held in Karaganda among representatives of ethnic and cultural associations owning Kazakh national art.
The competition was held in three categories: "Vocal performance" (songs in the Kazakh language), "Dance" (Kazakh national dances), "Playing instruments" (Kazakh folk musical instruments).
Representatives of all regions of the region took part in the festival of folk talents.
The winners of the festival were:
- Yunus Magomadov — NGO "Chechen-Ingush ethnocultural Association "Vainakh" of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Karaganda region;
- Kippym dance ensemble — NGO "Ethnocultural Association of Koreans of Karaganda region";
- Karina Tusupbekova is a student of the 7th grade of the Mashkhur Zhusup secondary school in Novouzenka village of Bukhar-Zhyrau district.
All participants were awarded diplomas, certificates and memorable gifts.
The festival is organized by KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the Department of Internal Policy of the Karaganda region.
