Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki met with representatives of the scientific community of the West Kazakhstan region
Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki held a meeting with representatives of the scientific community of the region at Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University. During the visit, an exhibition of the university's achievements was held, where the Vice Minister was shown the key results of the scientific and educational activities of Makhambet University.
The main topic of the meeting was the development of science and higher education in Kazakhstan. Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki summed up the results of the Ministry's work for the first half of 2024, presented the main achievements and spoke about government initiatives aimed at improving the accessibility and quality of higher and postgraduate education. Among the key programs described by the Vice Minister is the concept of development of higher education and science for 2023-2029.
Special attention was paid to the introduction of artificial intelligence and the development of digital technologies within the framework of the instruction of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which, according to Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki, will become an important element for the successful development of the educational and scientific sphere of the country.
The Vice Minister also held a briefing, where he answered topical questions from representatives of local media. After the briefing, Darkhan Ahmed-Zaki held a personal reception for citizens, within which everyone could ask questions and get advice on topics of interest to them in the field of science and higher education.
