There are 14 residents registered in the Taraz industrial zone, who are implementing 15 projects totaling 137 billion tenge. It is planned to create 1,326 jobs. Three projects are being implemented with the participation of foreign investors from Uzbekistan, Turkey and China.
KazGeoEnergy LLP is implementing a lime production project. Geological exploration is currently underway. Construction and installation works of the administrative building have been completed. Preparatory work is underway to install the furnace. Equipment from China for the production of quicklime in the amount of 464 million tenge was also ordered and imported. The construction of the frame is currently underway.

Until the completion of the planned construction of the general infrastructure, the site is provided with a temporary power transmission line.
