Since March of this year, over 35.4 thousand pregnant women have undergone comprehensive examinations in "one-day clinics" operating on the basis of 15 perinatal centers.

The One-day clinic project allows pregnant women to undergo pre-anal diagnostics and receive the results of examinations during the day. These innovative technologies make it possible to detect genetic abnormalities, congenital anomalies of organ development, and other painful conditions in the fetus at an early stage in utero.

More than 35,000 pregnant women were examined in "one-day clinics", while 527 women were found to have high risks to fetal health, 587 cases were diagnosed with chronic pathologies and congenital malformations, 543 women consented to termination of pregnancy.

The project also introduced a unique technology of fetal surgery, which opens up new opportunities for timely intervention in case of detection of complex pathologies in the early stages of pregnancy.

This significantly increases the chances of a successful pregnancy and the birth of a healthy child. As a result of intrauterine operations performed on 22 pregnant women, there was a chance to save the lives of unborn babies.

The One-Day Clinic and innovative prenatal diagnostic technologies represent an important step in the field of maternal and child health, improving the quality and accessibility of medical care for pregnant women in the country.
