On December 24, a magical celebration for 300 children took place at the Shymkent Exhibition Center — a Presidential New Year's Tree called "Welcome, New Year!". This event brought together young Shymkent residents from all over the city, giving them joy, inspiration and faith in miracles.
Among the guests of the holiday are children from large and low—income families, orphans left without parental care, as well as children with disabilities and excellent students - boys and girls who not only inspire with their perseverance, but also set an example for their peers.
For the young participants, the holiday became a real journey into a fairy tale. They were greeted by cartoon characters and folk tales, and the main wizards of the evening, of course, were Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden. Under the light of garlands and the glitter of Christmas Tree toys, the children immersed themselves in the fabulous atmosphere of the holiday, where miracles seemed to come to life.
Akim of Shymkent Gabit Syzdykbekov came to congratulate the guys. He conveyed warm words to them on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.:
"Happy New Year to you! May this holiday bring joy and happiness to your hearts. Learn, create, dream, and delight your loved ones with success. May your every day be filled with light and warmth!"
The festive program did not leave any child indifferent. Each participant was presented with gifts on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan: a certificate for 120 thousand tenge and a set of sweets. It was a real surprise for the children, many of whom attended such a large-scale event for the first time.
Every child who came to the Christmas tree took with them not only gifts, but also the belief that goodness always wins, and dreams, even the wildest, come true.
