The Kazakh delegation takes part in the international forum of volunteers in the capital of Uzbekistan. Tashkent, which became the youth capital of the CIS this year, summed up its work with this event.
The event was attended by leaders of the Volunteer Movement, representatives of state structures, as well as mentors from the CIS countries. The forum is aimed at developing a volunteer culture and uniting the efforts of volunteers in the region and around the world.
Within the framework of the Forum, an exhibition dedicated to volunteer activities in the CIS countries was organized. The first UN review of volunteering in Central Asia was also made.
In addition, the forum participants summed up the results of 2024 and discussed further cooperation.
It is worth noting that one of the oldest cities of Azerbaijan-Gabala – was chosen as the youth capital of the CIS in 2025.
