A meeting of the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and Protection of Their Rights of the Turkestan region was held at the Akzhayik Music School in Turkestan. The meeting was opened and led by Deputy Akim of the region, Chairman of the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and protection of their rights Beisenbai Tazhibayev.
The meeting was attended by members of the commission, chairmen and secretaries of district and city commissions, representatives of public organizations, a freelance adviser to the akim of the region - the regional commissioner for children's rights.
- Let's summarize the results of the 10 months of this year and hold a meeting of the commission. Data on juvenile delinquency has decreased. However, crimes committed against them are recorded. The safety of children's lives and health is at the center of the State's attention. There is also a special law. Some areas are indifferent to this issue and do not experience headaches. There are active young people in our region. Also include the specialists of the Youth Center in the commission and draw up a joint action plan. It is necessary to review all the mechanisms of influence. To strengthen the work and create a psychological group in Turkestan and Saryagash, as well as in Zhetysai district, – said the deputy akim of the region.
A number of topical issues were discussed on the agenda. During the meeting, the head of the UMPS of the regional police department, Police Colonel Yermek Userbayev, made a report. He noted the work done during the reporting period to prevent crimes and offenses among minors and crimes against them. If children are at night without parental control, legal representatives, then measures will be taken. After 22:00, a fine was also imposed on the owners of institutions and business facilities that accepted children. In addition, meetings and explanatory work were held regularly.
The heads of the police and education departments of the Sairam, Saryagash, and Zhetysai districts were additionally notified about crimes committed against minors.
Deputy Head of the regional health department Bauyrzhan Satybaldy spoke about the work on suicide prevention and early pregnancy among minors. The protection of the child should be the primary responsibility of the parent and legal representative at home, and not only of educational organizations or healthcare institutions.
Deputy Head of the regional Department of Education Aigul Kasymbekova shared the indicators for the reporting period. Then the chairmen of the commissions on juvenile affairs and protection of their rights of Ordabasinsky and Tolebiysky districts spoke.
Issues were discussed and proposals were announced at the meeting.
Beisenbai Dauletuly instructed the competent authorities to intensify the relevant work on the issues voiced in the Majilis and stressed the need to keep under strict control.
