Zhambyl region hosted the Republican scientific and practical conference "Shoygy BIIK Shona" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous poet, satirist Shona Smakhanovich.
Akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev, adviser to the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev, relatives of Shona Smakhanovich, well-known public figures of the country, representatives of the intelligentsia and talented writers took part in the event.
On this day, a wreath was laid and a bow was made to the bust of Shona Smakhanovich, which is located in secondary school No. 44 in Taraz.
The scientific and practical conference was conducted by the famous poet Bauyrzhan Zhakip.
Governor of the region Yerbol Karashukeyev noted the place of the famous writer and satirist Shona Smakhanovich in Kazakh literature, noting that his name and rich heritage will forever remain with his native people.
- Shona Smakhanovich is one of the highest figures in the history of Kazakh literature. Zhambyl is the pride of not only the land, but also the country as a whole. In this regard, it is quite natural to celebrate the anniversary of a unique citizen of the country, who became the "Shok Tili Shona" on his native soil.
The writer devoted his life to the development of Kazakh satire. Although he wrote a work with humor, he tried to convey to the thoughtful reader that he had a truth at the bottom. At all times, he raised the white flag of truth and became an example for his next generation,-the head of the region thanked the conference participants selflessly, wishing them good luck.
In his speech, advisor to the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev noted that the conference dedicated to the anniversary of satire is of great educational and cognitive importance.
- Celebration of national literature and art-Happy 100th anniversary of Shona Smakhanovich! Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich highly appreciates the work of representatives of the intelligentsia, who make an invaluable contribution to strengthening statehood and sovereignty, developing the spirituality of the nation. In accordance with the instructions of the president, anniversaries of people whose names are known to the country are widely celebrated. Today's event is a harmonious continuation of these important initiatives, – said Malik Otarbayev.
At the meeting, representatives of the intelligentsia, poets and writers shared their thoughts and shared their memories of Shona Smakhanovich.
- In addition to satirical poems, The Writer published unique lyrical songs that have a special place in Kazakh music. Probably, there is no Kazakh who does not know the melodic song" mom's language". This song is heart – wrenching, cheerful and gives a special touch to a person, - said the deputy chairman of the Board of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan, poet Kasymkhan Begmanov.
- The 100th anniversary of Shona Smakhanovich is a joy not only for Kazakh literature, but also for the entire Turkic world. The civic and active personality of our brother was especially high among the national figures as a sympathizer of our sacred native language. He made every effort to promote and popularize Kazakh books. We consider the unyielding, persistent work on the opening of Kazakh schools in Almaty to be a selfless feat. The role of the satira Sunkar in literature and society, who was born in Talas and rose to the heights of the Turkic world, faithfully fulfilling his filial duty to the nation, is eternally high, – said the poet Ulugbek Esdaulet.
Writer Kosemali Sattybayevich proposed to name one of the schools and streets in Astana and Almaty after Shona Smakhanuly, arguing that the inauguration of great people is a matter of generations.
In addition, doctor of philology, professor Zhangara Dadebay, chairman of the satire Council of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan Yermakhan Shaikhievich, doctor of philology, professor Kanseit Abdezuly, scientist, critic Kulbek Ergobek, writer, playwright Yelen Alimzhan, writer, doctor of philology, professor Nurdaulet Akish, poet, satirist Alpysbay Boranbayev spoke.
At the scientific and practical conference, the collection "er Shona", developed in honor of the 100th anniversary of Shona Smakhanovich, was presented.
The event was attended by the students of the Department of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The 100th anniversary of the public figure was marked by a literary and musical evening "er Shona".
The event began with memories of Sh.Smakhanovich and continued with a composition on Shona's poems performed by artists of the regional Kazakh drama theater named after A. Tokpanov.
As part of the evening, songs dedicated to the poet's poems were performed.
