A solemn event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the state Prize and holder of the orders "Kurmet" and "Otan" Akushtap Baktygereeva was held in Astana today.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov, Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva.
At the event, Aida Balayeva read out a congratulatory letter from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"Our people know and respect you as a talented writer and a prominent public figure who has made a significant contribution to the development of our culture and art. In your career, you have successfully worked in a number of domestic newspapers, magazines and publishing houses, actively contributing to the development of national literature. You came to Kazakh poetry with a unique style, distinguished by vivid thoughts and unique poetic lines. Your poems dedicated to the Independence of Kazakhstan, peaceful life and the beauty of nature were warmly received by readers. Your views on family values, the upbringing of daughters and the role of mothers in society are supported. I wish you good health and long life, as well as success in your work!" the congratulatory letter of the Head of State reads.
In her speech, Aida Balayeva also congratulated the outstanding poetess on her anniversary and noted that the creative legacy of Akushtap Baktygereeva played an important role in the education of young people and in the formation of spiritual values among the younger generation.
"As the President noted, the work of Akushtap Baktygereeva occupies a special place in modern Kazakh poetry. The poems of the poetess are close to everyone. Her poetry is characterized by a special sensuality and lyricism. I would like to highlight her works, which elevate the image of the Kazakh woman. She actively contributes to the preservation of our values, to the education of Kazakh girls in the spirit of wisdom and upbringing," Aida Balayeva said.
The minister also said that in honor of the anniversary of Akushtap Baktygereeva, a number of events and literary evenings were held.
In particular, yesterday the Kazakh National University of Arts hosted a literary and musical evening dedicated to the anniversary of the poetess.
Today, the performance "Zhuban" staged by the West Kazakhstan Regional Kazakh Drama Theater named after K. Kuanyshbayev took place at the State Academic Kazakh Musical and Drama Theater named after K. Kuanyshbayev. Hadisha Bukeyeva. The authors of the production: poet Akushtap Baktygereeva and playwright Madina Omarova.
A literary meeting "Alashtyn Akustaby" was held at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, a new book by the poetess "Menin Farizam" was presented, in which she tells about the life of a unique personality, one of the brightest representatives of Kazakh literature, Fariza Ongarsynova.
Also, the L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted a meeting of Akushtap Baktygereeva with readers.
