In support of the national environmental campaign of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev "clean Kazakhstan", the Department of digitalization, public services and archives of the Turkestan region celebrated the event "November 10 – day of digitalization and information technology workers" with the planting of young tree seedlings.
The event was attended by 120 employees of the Regional Department of digitalization, public services and archives and the "Unified Contact Center 109", which planted about 200 seedlings.
"This initiative will continue systematically, and in the future, alleys of digitalization workers will appear in every region of our region," said Marat Ainabekov, head of the Department.
This good deed will not only improve the ecology of the regional center, but also contribute to the development of civil servants ' love for the environment.
It should be noted that in the Turkestan region for 9 months of 2024, the volume of services rendered in the field of information and communications increased by 113.4% compared to last year and reached 7.4 billion tenge. The volume of attracted investments in the industry amounted to 11 billion tenge. This is an indicator of the development of digital infrastructure in our region.
Next year, it is planned to open an international technology park in Turkestan together with foreign IT companies, as well as a branch of the University of Korea. The history of these projects will undoubtedly make a great contribution to the transformation of the Turkestan region into a modern innovative and technological center of Central Asia.
