The grand opening of the state rehabilitation center "QH" for children with neuro-orthopedic disorders took place in Zhezkazgan. The opening ceremony was attended by Akim of the region Dastan Ryspekov, Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation Bolat Zhamishev, Deputy Executive Director of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation Alkey Margulanovich and Head of the Department of Sustainable Development of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP Medet Duysenbekov.
The new center is designed for children aged 3 to 18 years and can accommodate up to 600 children annually. With the support of the akimat of the Ulytau region, repairs were carried out here and comfortable conditions were created for young patients.
In order to maintain a high level of care, a multidisciplinary group has been formed at the center, which includes neurologists, rehabilitologists, speech therapists, physical therapy instructors, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and psychologists.
The training of specialists is carried out in several stages, including with the involvement of foreign mentors. The training of the group of specialists was carried out with the support of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation.
The centers of the Kamkorlyk Foundation are equipped with modern medical rehabilitation equipment of expert class from world brands. The equipment of the center was funded by the general partner of the project, the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation.
