A unique photo exhibition "Alashtyn asyl arysy" has opened in Samarkand, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The exhibition is dedicated to the great personalities of Kazakhstan, whose heritage became the basis for the formation of independence and cultural identity of the country.
Visitors can see rare archival photographs and photographic documents covering the life and work of such prominent figures as Akhmet Baitursynov, Alikhan Bukeikhanov, Magzhan Zhumabayev, Mukhammedzhan Tynyshpaev and many others. These people did not just go down in history — they became the founders of the future of Kazakhstan, its nation, culture and statehood.
The exhibition serves as an important link in strengthening cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, creating a space for the exchange of knowledge and experience between the leading museums of Central Asia.
The exhibition will run until November 15th.
