INCLUSIVE EDUCATION AT YESSENOV UNIVERSITY: A STEP TOWARDS EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES
Yesenov University is actively implementing the concept of inclusive education aimed at integrating children with special needs into the general educational process. This important initiative promotes the creation of equal opportunities for all students, regardless of their characteristics. The University pays special attention to creating an accessible and supportive educational environment, which helps to unlock the potential of each participant in the educational process.
An important role in this direction is played by the cabinet of inclusive education, which has become an important part of the educational program "Special Pedagogy". Students of this specialty have a unique opportunity to take practical classes in the inclusion room, mastering modern methods of working with children with special educational needs. The classroom is equipped with special learning tools, as well as trainings and consultations for teachers are organized in order to increase their competence in the field of inclusive education.
As part of the educational process, students also gain practical experience working with children with different developmental characteristics. Senior lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy, defectologist of a special school and teacher expert G.Zholdybayeva works with children with hearing and visual impairments, mental retardation, as well as with children with communication and behavior disorders.
Working with children with special educational needs requires high qualifications, sensitivity and special attention. Inclusive education not only promotes the development of children with special needs, but also enriches all participants in the educational process, developing tolerance, mutual understanding and respect for differences.
