Today, the Ministry of Energy awarded gas industry workers who distinguished themselves by their high professionalism and selfless work in eliminating the consequences of the spring flood.
Vice Minister of Energy Yerlan Akkenzhenov, expressing deep gratitude to the gas workers, stressed that their work was especially important in the conditions of a natural disaster. Thanks to their prompt and coordinated actions, it was possible to minimize damage to the population and energy infrastructure facilities, and ensure uninterrupted gas supply in the affected regions.
"Floods have become a serious challenge for the oil and gas and energy industries, however, thanks to the coordinated actions of specialists, it was possible to minimize damage and restore the operation of facilities. It was especially difficult for residents of West Kazakhstan, Aktobe and Atyrau regions. Heavy work on emergency recovery has fallen on the shoulders of more than ten thousand power engineers and oil workers. Today's meeting is attended by several representatives of the oil and gas industry, who have made a great contribution to the elimination of the consequences of the natural disaster. Sergey Lebedev, locksmith of the 4th category for the operation and repair of underground gas pipelines of the West Kazakhstan production branch of QazaqGaz Aimaq JSC, General Director of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. Marsili Marko, received Certificates of honor for his contribution to the prevention and elimination of the consequences of natural disasters, active participation in flood control measures in the West Kazakhstan region.
