The film "Bauyryna Salu" received a special prize at the Cinema Heritage Festival.
This prestigious festival dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the world's cinematic heritage has attracted the attention of an international audience due to its deep cultural context and significant contribution to the development of national cinema.
The organizers of the festival noted that the film contributes to a deep understanding and value of Kazakh culture, playing an important role in supporting cultural diversity – one of the priorities of UNESCO.
Every year Cinema Heritage Festival gathers the best representatives of the world film industry, and the recognition of the Kazakh film at this important event underlines its international success and importance for the world cinematographic culture.
The film was shot with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information and the National Cinema Support Center.
It is worth noting that the film "Bauyryna Salu" directed by Askhat Kucincherekov was previously approved for nomination for the Academy Award.
