The Council of Deputies of Maslikhats was established under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is an advisory body for resolving issues in the field of education, which includes about 190 deputies of maslikhats at all levels.
Addressing the people's deputies, the head of the Ministry of Education expressed confidence that the creation of the Council contributes to a more effective implementation of initiatives on the ground.
"At the second republican forum of deputies of maslikhats of all levels, the Head of State noted the importance of strengthening cooperation in all areas. Today, there are about 23 thousand educational organizations in the education system, in which about 6 million children study and 578 thousand teachers work. Therefore, close cooperation with maslikhats in each region will help us to fulfill our tasks efficiently. I am sure that joint work will lead us to the main goal – to improve the quality of education," Gani Beisembayev said.
Issues such as ensuring the safety of children, improving educational infrastructure, and transforming technical and vocational education were also discussed at the meeting. The deputies were able to ask their questions directly and receive extended answers.
It should be noted that the council will hold regular meetings to discuss topical issues and develop recommendations that will contribute to the introduction of new approaches and improvement of educational standards in the country.
