Every year, police officers in Zhambyl region hold commemorative events on the day of the death of Khalyk Kaharmana Gaziz Baitasov.
This year, memorial day began with the laying of flowers in the park “Zhenis” named after B.Momyshuly. It was attended by the leadership of the Zhambyl region police Department, relatives of G.Baitasov, representatives of state bodies of the Zhambyl region, veterans of internal affairs bodies.
The rally began with a minute of silence in memory of all law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. Among them, Gaziz Baitasov occupies a special place, whose name is forever inscribed in the galaxy of heroes of independent Kazakhstan.
This year marks the 13th anniversary of the death of Khalyk Kaharmana Gaziz Baitasov. His feat will forever remain the embodiment of the highest ideals of the police service, as well as a shining example for all police officers and the younger generation.
"The memory of Gaziz Baitasov will remain in the hearts of Kazakhstanis as a symbol of loyalty to the law and service to the people," said Bakitzhan Malybayev, head of the Zhambyl region Police Department.
Also on this day, employees of the battalion of the patrol police of the UP of the city of Taraz – colleagues of the hero-policeman laid flowers at the place of his death.
