Today in Astana, within the framework of the project of the National Front Office of Volunteers with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, lectures and master classes on "silver" volunteering were held for the participants of the Center for Active Longevity.
The purpose of this event is to promote "silver" volunteering, provide information about the features and opportunities of volunteering for the elderly, as well as inspire the older generation to participate in volunteer projects.
The center's participants were given lectures on the topics "Silver volunteering: new horizons of active longevity" and "About volunteering", and also discussed interesting questions posed by the participants.
It should be noted that the Silver Volunteering movement is gaining momentum in Kazakhstan. It allows people over the age of 50 to actively participate in the social life of the country, acquire new knowledge and skills and contribute to improving the environment.
