A draft law aimed at simplifying legislative regulation in the fields of information, social development, culture and archival affairs has been submitted to the Mazhilis

Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva spoke at the plenary session of the Mazhilis of the Parliament about the draft law developed by the department aimed at simplifying legislative regulation in the fields of information, public development, culture and archival affairs.
She noted that the document was prepared as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 13, 2022 "On measures to de-bureaucratize the activities of the state apparatus."
"The bill excludes excessive legislative regulation of the Ministry's competence. The functions ensuring the implementation of the main tasks, as well as those related to the internal procedures of the state body, its interaction with other state bodies, aimed at detailing and implementing the main provisions of the law, for the purpose of efficiency, will be defined in the Regulation of the state body. The proposed bill has been thoroughly reviewed and discussed with all interested parties before being submitted to you. It is important to note that the future legislative framework will fully fulfill the tasks set by the President of the country and will be aimed at significantly improving his work in this direction," Aida Balayeva said.
Also, within the framework of the draft Law, amendments are envisaged that contribute to the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of creative industries.
