Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy met with poet, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan and winner of the international literary award "Alash" Bakytzhan Aldiyar. During the meeting, issues of spirituality, literature and the development of Turkestan were discussed.
"Turkestan is the cultural and spiritual center of the Turkic world. The contribution of cultural figures to the development of the region is significant. We will support projects in the field of spirituality and creativity. It is important to hold literary contests, as well as create works that will remain in the hearts of people and glorify Turkestan," Darkhan Satybaldy said, congratulating the poet on his 50th birthday and expressing special respect for him.
Bakytzhan Aldiyar highly appreciated the positive changes in Turkestan and thanked the mayor for his attention. The poet stressed that there are many bright writers in the southern region and suggested continuing work on publishing books by Kazakhstani authors.
Aidar Seydazim, representative of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan in the Turkestan region, also made proposals to support talented youth and develop literature. He noted that books by three authors have already been published with the support of the regional akimat. The head of the regional department of Culture, Azimkhan Koilybayev, spoke about current and upcoming projects in the field of culture and spiritual development.
It should be noted that on November 14, Bakytzhan Aldiyar's creative evening dedicated to his 50th anniversary will be held at the Farab library in Turkestan with the support of the akimat of the region. The literary evening will be attended by representatives of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, famous poets and writers.
