Today, the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the Charge d'affaires of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Kazakhstan, Aisha Almesmari. The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Issues of deepening cooperation in the cultural sphere were discussed, as well as opportunities for the implementation of joint projects and initiatives aimed at developing cultural ties between the two states.
Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aizada Kurmanova noted in her speech that Kazakhstan and the UAE are actively implementing the necessary measures to implement international cooperation. In particular, she announced joint events held in the field of theatrical art, as well as the upcoming Astana Opera tour and the participation of designers and artisans of Kazakhstan in the World Cultural Heritage Week in Sharjah.
In turn, Aisha Almesmari stressed that the United Arab Emirates is interested in further developing the established cultural ties between the countries. Information was also announced about the holding of a cultural summit in Abu Dhabi in April 2025, to which Kazakhstan received an invitation.
