The extraordinary meeting, chaired by the deputy akim of the Abai region, Dmitry Garikov, considered the issues of preparation for the 2025 spring flood, the condition of hydraulic structures, and inspection of livestock burial grounds. Responsible institutions were instructed to remove snow in a timely manner, clean ditches and canals, conduct regular monitoring of water supply facilities, inspect livestock burial grounds and draw up an act based on the results.
In addition, a special group was formed to check the preparedness of local executive bodies for the 2025 flood. The deadlines for the implementation of the assigned tasks were also approved.
