Today, on February 5, the Kazakh delegation participated in the BRICS Creative Industries Summit in Moscow.
The field Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa and brought together representatives of Kazakhstan, which will be one of the organization's partner countries from 2025.
A plenary session entitled "Creative Industries in the Era of Global Transformation" was held as part of the summit, in which Yevgeny Kochetov, Vice Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, participated.
He told his colleagues about the development of creative industries in Kazakhstan and measures of state support for this sector. He also expressed confidence that cooperation within the BRICS framework will contribute to further strengthening the creative economy.
The Kazakhstani delegation also included representatives of local executive bodies overseeing the creative sector and heads of creative hubs.
The purpose of the international meeting is to discuss and develop the economic potential of the creative sector, networking and exchange of experience. These areas include architecture and urbanism, IT, cinema, video and photography, music, design and fashion, and contemporary art.
