In order to support the creation of a feed base for livestock and poultry enterprises, the Food Contract Corporation is ready to sell feed grain. The state operator has formed a permanent feed stock of 200 thousand tons of grain.
To purchase feed, farmers must contact local executive bodies, which will form a list of buyers and send applications for the purchase of feed to the Food Contract Corporation. Feed grain is sold to farms at a fixed price. Raw materials are shipped from elevators in the Akmola, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions.
Starting in 2022, in order to provide the domestic market with affordable feed, the Food Contract Corporation will create a reserve stock of feed grain that will be supplied to livestock farms during the off-season. In 2024, the grain operator shipped 120 thousand tons of feed wheat to enterprises.
Let us remind you that February remains one of the most difficult months for livestock farmers, since its climatic characteristics and turnover features are very close to January.
