Akim of Astana Zhenis Kasymbek wrote on his Instagram page about the investment projects being implemented for the city's economy, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.

“We will continue to attract private investment to the development of the city. For example, in 2024, 1.9 trillion tenge of investment was attracted to the city's economy, which is 13% more than in 2023. The growth of industrial production in the capital exceeded 6.7%, reaching 2.5 trillion tenge, and the growth in the manufacturing industry was 9.8%.

I held a meeting of the Investment Staff, where we considered a number of proposals from investors. For example, we considered projects that included the construction of a service center for servicing electric locomotives, a solid waste sorting and recycling complex, multi-level parking lots, as well as plants for the production of steel pipes, spiral cables and autoclaved aerated concrete.

For example, the M Clinic company presented a project for the construction of a multidisciplinary clinic, and the French company ALSTOM plans to build a service center for servicing electric locomotives. The center will service 250 freight and 119 passenger electric locomotives.

The total amount of investments in the proposed projects is approximately 215 billion tenge. Their implementation period is set for the period from 2025 to 2030. The implementation of these projects will allow creating permanent jobs.

We hold meetings of the regional investment headquarters on a regular basis. "We consider each project individually and provide comprehensive support to investors," wrote Zhenis Kasymbek.
