“A youth internship program for graduates of colleges and universities is being implemented in Kazakhstan. This program allows young specialists to gain their first work experience. According to the terms of the program, the duration of the youth internship is up to 12 months, the salary is 117,960 tenge, and the age of participants should not exceed 35. According to the results of last year, 567 employers applied for 3,353 jobs, and currently there are 3,319 vacancies for graduates.
In addition, the process of internships and training for students has become easier and more accessible. The Enbek.kz portal allows employers to easily find students and interns. To do this, first you need to register on the Enbek.kz website and publish a vacancy marked "Professional experience". Then the employer can select students and invite them to an interview. At the next stage, an online contract is concluded with the educational institution, and the student undergoes an internship. The employer maintains an electronic diary of the intern and monitors its results. This system allows students to gain initial work experience, and employers to train future specialists," says the director of the Labor Mobility Center.
In addition, the state offers a free vocational training program for unemployed citizens in accordance with the request of employers. The training period under the program lasts from 1 to 6 months. Students will receive a scholarship of 43,574 tenge and material assistance in the amount of 7,864 tenge.
Training is carried out on the basis of a four-party agreement concluded between the unemployed citizen, the employer, the educational institution and the Labor Mobility Center. The program is open to enterprises that are regular taxpayers, have no salary arrears and have been operating for at least 1 year. Applications are accepted in the "Vocational Training" section of the Enbek.kz portal.
