Specialists from the Astana city education department held a meeting with representatives of delegations from Abay and Pavlodar regions to share experience on voucher financing introduced in preschool organizations, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
Preschool organizations in the capital have officially switched to the voucher financing system starting this year. Since the beginning of the year, 2,200 places have been issued vouchers, of which 1,222 have been registered in preschool organizations using voucher financing.
According to the information released by the city education department, this system is a new, transparent and effective way of distributing state orders to preschool organizations.
During the meeting, the main areas of voucher financing, its positive impact on the education system, and its benefits for parents and preschool organizations were discussed. Representatives of the delegation asked and received answers to questions arising during the transition to the new system.
The voucher financing system allows parents to improve the quality of educational services by providing freedom of choice of kindergarten, create competition among preschool institutions, and ensure transparency in the allocation of state funds.
This exchange of experience is intended to help other regions effectively implement the voucher financing system and contribute to the successful implementation of new initiatives in the field of preschool education.
“A delegation group from Abay and Pavlodar regions arrived in Astana to introduce the voucher financing system. "Since this system was introduced in the capital in January 2025, we shared our experience," said Moldir Aitkalikovna, head of kindergarten No. 5 "Akbota" in the city.
